WILLIAM GROGG OBITUARY

1950 - 2021
William R. Grogg of Millbrook, NY passed away on 12 December 2021 at Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York City of complications associated with leukemia. He was born in Brookfield, MO. Bill was predeceased by his parents Thelma and William Grogg of Crystal Lake, IL, and his brother Marty Grogg of Orlando, FL.



He is survived by Patricia Warner Grogg of Williamsburg, VA, sons W. Ross Grogg IV of Richmond, VA (spouse Nicole) and Walker Chase Shipp Grogg of Toano, VA (spouse Pamela), and four fabulous grandchildren Stella Catherine, Sophia Anne, Maryellen Grace, and William V. Bill graduated from Southern Illinois University with a degree in Forestry and was a small business owner in Poughkeepsie, NY for the past 36 years.



He volunteered with United Way, Dutchess Community College, and the Boy Scouts, both locally and nationally. He was a long-time fan of Army football at West Point.



The family plans a spring memorial service at Grace Church, Millbrook, NY.
