Linda Christine Brady (77), our girls' gym teacher and daugheter of Max and Bernice Brady, passed away August 27, 2016, after a long battle with cancer. She taught At CLCHS for many years. Her highlight of her career was in 1978 when she lead the girls' basketball team to the state competition Elite Eight Tournament. After retirement Miss Brady became an ordained minister and moved closer to her sisters and their families in Phoenix. A memorial service will be held for her at 3 p.m. Sat., Sept 17, at The Encanto Community Church, 2710 N. Seventh Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85007. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church in Miss Brady's honor.
