John Michael Peacock (October 16, 1949 - March 8, 2018) of Crown Point, IN, passed away peacefully at St. Anthony's Medical Center at the age of 68.

Jon is loved and will be missed by his family: his wife Mary; his mother Hazel of Georgia; his daughter Jill Faherty, son-in-law, and two granddaughters of New Jersey; his sister Rendy of Georgia, nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his father Dan Peacock of Illinois and his brother Dan Peacock of Colorado. 

He was an accomplished standardbred horse trainer and blacksmith, and highly regarded in harness racing.
